Founded in 2021 by a bride seeking a brand that was size inclusive, had a strong focus on premium fabrics, environmentally conscious, and lastly a brand that could make a dream which started as a sketch on paper a real life reality for such a special monumental day, the one and only wedding day. The founder was quick to learn that such a company didn’t exist, so why not create it herself.

 

Mrs B here, I am the founder of Violà Bespoke. A small business that in the last few years has grown from strength to strength. In 2022 I was a plus size bride, it was clear to me that plus size and luxury generally speaking do not go hand in hand. I couldn’t understand why no companies were not fully size inclusive, whether you’re smaller, taller, bigger than the “average person”, ultimately I found myself questioning what is the average size/height/build?

 

I never planned to turn my sheer passion for learning everything there was to know about fabrics, sizes, designs into a business. I was simply a plus size girl who wanted exactly what was in my head for my wedding day, and I wasn’t stopping until I got it. I found a seamstress who was willing to create my design, in my size, despite being told many times I was too big for the model maniquinn and therefore they were unable to accommodate my design. The day I found the first seamstress was the day Violà Bespoke was born. I never wanted anyone to not have exactly what they wanted on their wedding day.

 

In our first year of opening we made the dreams of 186 brides with their bespoke designs came true. With the support of our bridal network, word of mouth we continue into our second year of business and continue to make ALL women feel beautiful
